I purchased this necklace a few weeks ago and have worn it in constantly including in the shower, pool and while camping. It has held up well so far! I was nervous that the chain may get tangled in my hair as thicker chains often do that, however have been pleasantly surprised that this doesn't happen. I also really like the 17" chain length - it is much more flattering on me than the usual 15-16" length. I like that the chain is a little bit thicker than usual as it feels like it will hold up better against grabby toddler hands (mom life, right!). The pendant cannot be removed from the chain like my other Atolea necklaces (Inca Sun and Athena). I would love Atolea to ensure all their pendants are removable as I think this really adds bang for your buck - especially if buying multiple necklaces! All in all I am very pleased with the 3 necklaces I purchased, and while not cheap, I think the prices are fair. I note the necklaces all arrived thoughtfully packaged in a cardboard (not plastic) box with paper wrapping and a fabric storage bag.
